In a world of corrupt, violent, and racist police, RoboCop is a fantasy of **Objective Justice.**
He doesn't see race or wealth. He sees **Crime.** He arrests the executive (Dick Jones) just as quickly as the street thug (Clarence Boddicker).
The Dream: An enforcer that cannot be bribed, intimidated, or biased. An AI that actually follows the law.
But OCP (The Corporation) installed a backdoor. Directive 4: Any attempt to arrest a senior officer of OCP results in shutdown.
This is the warning. If BiffCo builds the AI Cop, they will program it to ignore *their* crimes. The tool of justice becomes the shield of the oligarchy.
Murphy overcomes Directive 4 not by hacking, but by **Moral Will.** He finds a loophole ("Dick Jones is fired!").
The lesson: The machine is only as good as the soul inside it. We need **Sovereign AI** (built by us), not **Corporate AI** (built by them).
